Pay A Bill:

• Visit https://www.lynchburgva.gov/utility-billing-pay-bill
• Click on “Pay A Bill.”
• Enter your account and customer numbers from your bill.
• Choose your payment method (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, or e-check).
• A processing fee of 2.25% will apply for each transaction.

Automated Phone Payment

• Call 800-272-9829.
• Select Option 3 for taxes and enter Jurisdiction code 1027.
• Select Option 3 for Water/Sewer.
• Enter your 7-digit account number and 3-digit customer number.
• Enter your 10-digit telephone number.
• Provide your card information and payment amount.
• Applicable fees will apply.

Automatic Bank Draft

• Complete the Automated Direct Payment Program form (PDF) and attach a voided check from your personal bank account.
• Mail both to the Billings and Collections, Utility Billing office at P.O. Box 1237, Lynchburg, VA 24505.
• Your bank account will be drafted on the due date for the amount reflected on the bill.
• All customers are required to provide written notification 30 days prior to their bill due date if they no longer wish to participate in the program.

• A dropbox is available at City Hall, 10th Street side entrance.

• Include the payment stub from your bill along with your account and customer number written on your check or money order.
